'Green computing' to save the world from environmental pollution
Computers are now an essential part of our daily lives. People of all ages have to use computers for various purposes. And with the increase in the number of users, the rate of computer sales is also increasing. For example, global desktop, notebook and workstation sales have increased by 55% this year. In other words, this year has seen the highest rate of computer sales compared to the last decade.
But much of the work, from manufacturing these computer devices to disposing of used and discarded devices, is harmful to the environment. For example, using a computer consumes a lot of electricity.
